We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Lead Hand (LH) to join an international Oil & Gas project in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and piping systems, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, align, and maintain pumps, compressors, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Perform precision fitting, pipe alignment, and torqueing operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical schematics.
• Supervise mechanical helpers and ensure worksite compliance with HSE rules.
• Conduct inspections and participate in mechanical testing and commissioning.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Proficient in equipment fitting, alignment, and pipe installation.
• Valid trade certifications (Mechanical / Maintenance).
• Knowledge of HSE and QA/QC procedures.
