The Tour Pusher is the assistant supervisor to the Rig Manager on the rig and assists in coordinating the work of the crews on each rig and the work of any additional crewmen or technicians, which may be assigned to them. The Tour Pusher normally learns through on-the-job training by working up through the ranks of the basic crew. Such experience is necessary to be able to manage the operation and take over the running of the rig in emergencies or assist in times of peak load, particularly during rig-up and rig-down operations.
The Tour Pusher position is expected for Winter Exploration season to start Fall of 2023 until Spring of 2024.
