Review incoming orders for accuracy in terms of materials, pricing, and value.
Creation of stock picking tickets.
Procurement of non-stocked materials.
Ensuring buy-out materials are received within the allotted time frame.
Ensuring all orders are processed and completed on a timely basis.
Assist the Inventory Purchasing department with possible new inventory requirements.
Assist with picking stock orders from time to time when required.
Coordinating with the Accounting Department regarding order and/or vendor issues.
Coordinating with warehouse personnel regarding order accuracy (physical scale) and shipping.
Emphasizing product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
Assisting in day-to-day warehouse operations when required.
Assist in physical inventory count procedure.
Correct vendor utilized for the right product at the right price.
Utilization of in-house inventory.
Material Master utilized when possible.
Free text procurement kept to a minimum.
Participate in after-hour on-call rotation schedule; and
Various other duties as required.
