Job Description:
Precision Drilling is seeking an experienced Rig Electrician Technician to join the team for an upcoming drilling project. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all electrical systems and equipment onboard the rig. This is a hands-on position, requiring a candidate with in-depth technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment on the rig
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth operation of systems
Requirements:
• Relevant technical certifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role on a drilling rig
• Proficiency in English
• Medical fitness certificate
• Ability to work in challenging environments
