Detailed Description:
Troubleshoot and diagnose the problem of equipment brought to the maintenance shop.
Assemble and disassemble directional motors, and other oilfield drilling components.
Perform all tests and repair in strict compliance with the manufacturer’s service manual and bulletins.
Quality control of parts to determine whether they need to be repaired or replaced.
List parts to be replaced referring to the manufacturer’s manuals and diagrams.
Look up all necessary repair parts and order them as needed.
Document inspections, test results, repair work done, and parts replaced for proper billing and record upkeep.
Ensure the yard and shop spaces are clean and organized.
Ensure that all equipment is clean and in good working order.
Safely operate forklift to move equipment around the yard.
Participate in all required meetings, training, and development activities.
Ability to communicate, including ability to read, write, and speak English and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all designated times.
Willing to be on call after hours, work extended schedules, including extra days, occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
