Purpose
The Engineering Technician for the Capability and Engineering Hubs will be responsible for supporting all of the engineers on the Capability and Engineering Hubs team. This will include collecting and archiving reports, monitoring project budgets, assisting in creation of Purchase Orders,
Accountabilities
The Capability and Engineering Hubs Engineer will be accountable to the Wells Engineering Manager for support of the overall team in the day to day business.
Responsibilities include working with Information Management/Document Control on getting document numbers, being adept at filing technical reports and records and utilization of Shell’s document management/control software (Assai), understanding the process for generating Purchase Orders, and assisting the engineering staff in obtaining PO numbers. The technician will also be able to monitor/track the costs of multiple projects and give updates on budget to the Engineering team and WEM. Finally, if possible, the technician will be able to travel to testing facilities to witness qualification testing should Engineering resources be unavailable.
