This position is responsible for the planning, organizing and supervision of the operataion which includes assisting in the development of the PM Program to include, but not limited to, training and monitoring the progress of rig personnel using the program and providing electrical and maintenance support to field operations.
Essential functions
Research and develop maintenance procedures for equipment.
Understand and work with relevant regulatory and inspection agencies, including ABS, DNV, API and ModuSpec.
Monitor maintenance reports and progress of the program at rig locations.
Investigate electrical equipment failures.
Witness acceptance tests for new and refurbished equipment.
Assist with specific maintenance questions/problems, primarily electrical; give advice or acquire information from the manufacturers to help solve rig site problems.
Monitor changes in rig equipment inventories through the PM data input operators, audit checks, and Oracle input from the field.
Monitor field personnel data entry.
Understand and work with relevant regulatory and inspection agencie
Leads employee development, training efforts and succession planning.
Adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.
Responsible for safety of self and others in the vicinity to include, but not limited to, employees, vendors and guests.
Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping and take additional safety precautions to ensure no one is put at risk.
Do not take short cuts or unnecessary risks and actively work with others to ensure they take due care and do not put themselves or others at risk.
Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.
