Act as subject matter expert on local labor laws, keeping informed of any changes and proactively advising the HR team on actions required to ensure compliance.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the Compliance program to identify improvements, anticipate possible challenges and identify mitigating actions.
Support the development of labor law knowledge within the HR team, by assessing existing knowledge and providing appropriate training/knowledge sharing sessions on areas that impact our HR operation.
Support HR Manager to manage the relationship with the relevant Unions, including implementing and operationalizing union agreements.
Act as point of contact and HR Lead for external audits, including the planning, execution and follow up actions.
Provide guidance for the people services team on the documents/evidence they should gather to be presented on time to close internal/external audits without penalties or deviations.
Monitor existing systems and controls to ensure ongoing compliance of local labour laws (data capture, statistics, procedures, manuals, guidance documents).
Monitor and continually improve communication with Rig Leaders to ensure efficient communication and employee relations within the organization & the union.
Communicate, comply with and implement Seadrill policies and programs.
