General Description
◾ The Electrical Supervisor will put personnel and rig safety first in the pursuance of all his/her activities.
◾ The Electrical Supervisor shall ensure that all electrical systems and related
equipment are maintained, serviced and tested in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations, the correct electrical standards and good industry practice.
◾ The Electrical Supervisor shall ensure that deviations from the explosion proof integrity of installations and equipment within hazardous zones are identified and corrected accordingly.
◾ The Electrical Supervisor controls the work of the electrical department and day shift and is responsible for the safety of all personnel working under his
supervision.
◾ The Electrical Supervisor will ensure that the relevant requirements of the Noble Management System are used as the term of reference for his work.
◾ When controlling the work of others the Electrical Supervisor shall ensure the
safety of all the personnel working under his management by enforcement of the company’s safety policies and culture.
◾ Maintain a safe working environment in all working areas and ensure good
housekeeping and safe working conditions for all personnel.
◾ Have particular knowledge of the system for Work Permit.
◾ Order parts as required or requested by the Technical Section Leader.
◾ The Electrical Supervisor is the focal point for all cybersecurity activities on
the unit, and act as a liaison between the unit and the onshore Information
Security team.
