A recognized degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
10+ years of experience in the mining industry, preferably with underground experience
10+ years’ experience managing geology groups Experience in managing geology groups
Capable of interpreting and effectively utilizing geologic models in support of resource modelling and grade control
Resource modelling and reconciliation reporting experience
Experience producing Resource and Reserve Statements, with QP qualifications
Production grade control experience, preferably with strong understanding of associated data management, material classification, and reporting processes
Experience with production models, incorporating both grade control assay data and resource drilling data
Capable of producing operating and capital cost budgets, reviewing costs, and explaining variances
Experience with either authoring, or contributing to, NI 43-101 reports
Ability to devote significant time focusing on the 12+ month time horizon
Able to identify risks, and develop action plans to eliminate or minimize associated impacts
