Senior HR Specialist-Compensation - HR Advisor-Compensation
Location: Houston, TX, US
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge and experience in broad-based total compensation plan design and implementation.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications, with experience performing complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Experience working in HR and compensation management systems. Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, MarketPay, or JDXpert is preferred.
Professional presentations, project management, follow-through, accuracy and attention to detail, managing confidentiality, teamwork, and effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
Understanding of basic financial concepts and business acumen. Experience applying US employment law concepts in compensation programs.
Education and Experience:
Requires completion of undergraduate degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related discipline, and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Experience working in a large and complex organization, and experience in the energy industry is preferred.
Professional certification in Compensation or as a Human Resources Professional is preferred.
