Job Description
Blue Phoenix Deepwater is currently seeking an experienced Roustabout for a long-term Offshore Deepwater Drilling Project in Nigeria.
The successful candidate will assist with general deck operations, material handling, equipment maintenance, cleaning, and support for drilling and marine activities while ensuring compliance with offshore HSE standards.
This opportunity is ideal for offshore personnel with previous Drillship or offshore vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with general deck and drilling support operations
Handle cargo, stores, and drilling equipment
Maintain work areas, deck machinery, and equipment
Assist during lifting and rigging activities
Support maintenance and housekeeping duties
Participate in toolbox talks and emergency drills
Follow company HSE procedures and offshore safety regulations
Maintain safe working practices onboard
Requirements
Nigerian nationality
Previous offshore drilling or offshore vessel experience
Valid offshore safety certification where applicable
Valid offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong physical fitness and teamwork abilities
Excellent safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
