The Roustabout is responsible for the safe and correct execution of the
instructions specified by the Lead Crane Operator/Crane Operator.
◾ The Roustabout is responsible to ensure that the work is performed in such way that the safety integrity of others is maintained and for actively contributing to maintaining high safety standards in the Roustabout team.
◾ Further the Roustabout has the responsibility for the following:
◾ Carry out work in connection with loading/unloading operations, general maintenance and cleaning jobs, assistance to the drill floor crew, and other tasks as directed by the Crane Operator or other superiors
◾ Acquire sufficient knowledge about regulations related to safety and working
environment, and to the Noble Management System, Safety Policy and Environmental Policy of Noble, to ensure compliance with these regulations and procedures in the daily duties onboard. Special attention shall be paid to the Work Permit system.
