We are seeking a Senior Mechanic to oversee maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment on a land drilling rig.
The role is critical to ensure reliability and safe operation of engines, pumps, and rig hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead maintenance team and coordinate mechanical repairs.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on rig machinery.
• Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain maintenance logs and spare part inventories.
• Support HSE compliance and safety inspections.
Requirements:
• 7+ years experience as Rig Mechanic, with at least 2 in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and rig equipment.
• Valid BOSIET / H2S / Medical Certificate.
• Technical qualification in mechanical engineering.
