Job Description:
SA-World is currently seeking an experienced Rig Mechanic to ensure the efficient and safe operation of mechanical systems aboard offshore drilling units. The Rig Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical equipment related to drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, engines, and compressors.
Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with planned schedules.
Support drilling operations by ensuring equipment reliability.
Keep detailed maintenance logs and equipment reports.
Follow safety procedures and environmental standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as Rig Mechanic in offshore or industrial setting.
Valid STCW, Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificate.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
