Job Description:
Falcon Drilling is looking for an Experienced Field Mechanic (Mechanic 4) to join the Maintenance Department. The role involves inspection, maintenance, and field repair of rig-related mechanical equipment including diesel engines, compressors, mud systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Work is performed both in the shop and at rig locations, with up to 50% travel. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform major repairs and rebuilds of diesel engines, compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, mud pumps, hoisting systems, and drilling rig components
• Use diagnostic tools and computerized systems to test and troubleshoot ECM, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (24–600 volts)
• Conduct inspections, calibrations, and safety checks of rig-related equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations
• Maintain technical records, reports, and documentation of all repairs and maintenance activities
• Travel to rig sites for installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment as required

Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License (meeting Falcon Drilling Motor Vehicle Policy)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 8+ years of oilfield mechanical experience, including engine diagnostics and diesel engine rebuilding
• 8+ years’ experience with operation and maintenance of air compressors and air boosters
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
