We are currently recruiting an experienced Chief Mechanic to join offshore and onshore drilling operations across Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the maintenance, repair, and reliability of all mechanical equipment on the drilling rig, ensuring safe and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervising the maintenance and repair of drilling machinery and mechanical systems.
Planning preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
Troubleshooting mechanical failures and coordinating corrective actions.
Managing spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
Ensuring compliance with HSE standards and company maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Chief Mechanic or in a similar role.
DRILLMEC certification (mandatory).
DRILLMEC Operation Training with certification preferred.
Valid Passport.
Good English communication skills.
Strong knowledge of drilling equipment and mechanical systems.
Previous offshore or onshore drilling experience.
