The Lead/Chief Mechanic is primarily responsible for the mechanical safety and integrity of the operations and to safely ensure the continual function of the mechanical equipment on H&P rigs. This position provides an opportunity to help build and shape H&P’s culture and share your passion for the industry by delivering mechanical leadership developmental workshops, coaching talented teams to develop consistent mechanical solutions, and training others in on maintenance best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of experience in rig drilling machinery and equipment
Proficient with Microsoft: World, Excel, Outlook and H&P applications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering field preferred
Pumpback System experience preferred
Walking Rig experience preferred
