A leading offshore drilling company is seeking an experienced Chief Mechanic to oversee mechanical maintenance operations onboard offshore drilling installations.
The successful candidate will supervise maintenance personnel, ensure equipment reliability, manage repair activities, and support safe drilling operations.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise mechanical maintenance personnel
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs
Ensure operational readiness of drilling equipment
Coordinate repairs and troubleshooting activities
Maintain maintenance records and reports
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements
Support operational efficiency and equipment reliability
Requirements
Relevant mechanical engineering qualification
Minimum 5 years of offshore drilling experience
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of drilling equipment and machinery
Valid offshore certifications and medical
Good English communication skills
