High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of technical background in managed pressure drilling and support systems.
2+ years of experience in managed pressure drilling operations.
Ability to operate below tension ring managed pressure drilling system.
Familiar with active control devices or rotary control devices.
Familiar with hydraulic downhole hydraulic models.
Familiar with current managed pressure drilling technology and future trends.
Hydraulic, electronics and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Understanding of mechanical equipment and machinery.
Experience at decision making and problem solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within groups.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Valid well control certification required.
Travel is an essential job function (approximately 100%, this is an offshore rotational position).
