We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motorman to join the team on board our clients FPSO vessel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating the vessel's propulsion and power generation systems, as well as ensuring that all machinery is running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all propulsion and power generation systems
Monitor and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
Participate in safety drills and training as required
Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo as required
Maintain accurate records and logs of all machinery and equipment
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably on board a FPSO/FSU/Drilling Unit
Knowledge of propulsion and power generation systems, including diesel engines and generators
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) certification
