A drilling contractor is seeking an experienced Motorman to support mechanical and engine-room operations on drilling rigs in Basra.
Rotation: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with maintenance of engines and mechanical equipment
• Monitor machinery and report defects
• Perform routine inspections and lubrication
• Assist mechanics and maintenance personnel with repairs
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow equipment maintenance and HSE procedures
Requirements
• Previous Motorman experience on drilling rigs or offshore installations
• Relevant mechanical experience
• Knowledge of diesel engines and auxiliary machinery
• Relevant technical certificates where applicable
• Strong HSE awareness
• Physically fit and able to work rotational shifts
• Iraqi nationality is mandatory
