JOB SUMMARY
Will assist with training operations and duties including maintaining a training calendar, scheduling employees for training classes, record keeping, facilitation of Canrig CAMS program, and generating and distributing training and CAMS reporting
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interacts with Training Manager/Supervisor and Area Manager to achieve training goals and requirements. Take lead on and maintain all training and competency initiatives that are required as per Canrig and Nabors systems. Plan and coordinate monthly training schedules ensuring instructor assignments, preparation of training rooms, hotels, travel arrangements are all arranged prior to training start date.
Develop and maintain local and district training schedules in conjunction with district workforce needs and Learning/CAMS Management System (LMS/CAMS) requirements.
Schedules employees and coordinates both in-house and off-site training, to include marketing courses to targeted audiences and assist with the logistical needs of trainees.
Ensures that all training is documented as per Nabors/CANRIG Human Resource and Training LMS/CAMS guidelines and assists local supervisors and managers with these processes.
Maintains hard and soft copy files of all pertinent and current documents per LMS/CAMS requirements and audits for accuracy on a regular basis.
Regularly performs uploads of completed training and competency employee records into Nabors portal and provides reporting out of myBIT.
Evaluate and monitor 3^rd Party training instructors as required to assure the highest quality delivery of 3^rd Party training sessions.
Compile data and monitor expenditures for all district training programs to maintain and meet district budgetary requirements.
Assists in preparation of written training materials and handouts for distribution to students. Assist with training material revisions and implementation of revised material.
Provides statistical information showing compliance with training requirements on a weekly basis to District Management Team and all field operations and updates Training Manager on a monthly basis on local training activities.
Provides bi-weekly Training Stats report which tracks key performance metrics for their district training goals.
Works with all field Supervisors to ensure training candidates are scheduled for required and recommended training in a timely basis.
Facilitate good communication with other district departments especially HR & Operations to ensure all training is properly planned and coordinated
