Oversee vessel maintenance, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition and that necessary repairs are promptly addressed
Communicate effectively with shore-based management, port authorities, and other vessels to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to protect the vessel, crew, and cargo
Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for the crew to enhance preparedness for emergencies
Monitor and manage the vessel's compliance with environmental regulations and implement sustainable practices.
