Qualifications
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
A recognized engineering technology diploma in welding, materials, or mechanical engineering is preferred
Must have 5+ years of related experience in the oil and gas industry
Must have certification as an Alberta In-service Pressure Equipment Inspector and API-510
Certification in API-570, 653, NB-23, NACE are assets
Must have strong knowledge of corrosion and mitigation strategies and NDE techniques
Must be knowledgeable and proficient with jurisdictional requirements, ASME construction and post construction codes, API in-service inspection codes and recommended practices
Must have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
Must be highly organized with proven skills to manage a large number of concurrent activities
Must have strong judgment, analytical and business skills
Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Adobe/Bluebeam
Must have knowledge in API and ASME codes, with familiarity of ABSA and ERCB pressure equipment regulations and directives
Must have a valid Alberta Class 5 operator’s license
Ability to travel
