Qualifications
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
A recognized engineering technology diploma in welding, materials, or mechanical engineering is preferred
Must have 5+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry working as an in-service pressure equipment inspector
Must have or be eligible to obtain, certification as an Alberta In-service Pressure Equipment Inspector for Pressure Piping
Possess strong experience and technological knowledge of NDE techniques
Certification in API-510, 653, NB-23, NACE are assets
Must have strong knowledge of corrosion and mitigation strategies.
Must be knowledgeable and proficient with jurisdictional requirements, ASME construction and post construction codes, API in-service inspection codes and recommended practices
Must have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
Must be highly organized with proven skills to manage a large number of concurrent activities
Must have strong judgment, analytical and business skills
Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Adobe/Bluebeam
Must have a valid Alberta Class 5 operator’s license
