Education:
• Professional Supply Chain or Procurement qualification (CIPS/CPM).
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent required (QS / Law / Technical / Economic or Business related).
Relevant Experience / Skills:
• Knowledge and application of supply chain methodologies, strategic analysis and implementation including risk analysis and risk mitigation.
• Demonstrable experience of strong sourcing and negotiating skills.
• Excellent “hands-on” document preparation skills and an ability to work at pace to meet deadlines, whilst still delivering acceptable quality.
• Knowledge of and direct procurement experience relating to corporate contracts, including IT service agreements, software and data licence agreements.
• Working knowledge of Information Systems Technology such as Unit 4 / SAP / Oracle etc.
• Good knowledge of commercial and contract law.
• Relevant experience of Contract Engineering / Procurement within an upstream oil and gas environment, preferably with an independent oil company and/or oilfield services provider, would be of benefit but is not essential.
