- Relevant practice from submersible or drillship
Due to the location of the project and visa procedures, the offer is addressed to candidates from Europe.
Mission
According with superior instructions, carry out manual operations on the rig and rig floor ensuring the full respect of the operative safety rules
Operate for setting up, maintaining, disassembling and transporting oil rigs and service equipment. Responsible for cleaning the area during and after the drilling operations. Moving and manipulating pipes and drill systems on the rig floor is also part of own job
Tasks
Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates
Be well-informed about own duties during safety drills and in an emergency situation (refer to Emergency Preparedness Action Plan)
Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan
Attend safety drills and meetings held on the rig
Apply all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and the Operator
Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident and non-conformance through proper channels
Carry good housekeeping in own working area
Maintain working areas, tools, equipment and safety harnesses in a safe, clean, tidy and orderly manner
Perform activities as instructed by superior
Support the Derrickman in own tasks executing manual works as required
