We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to provide engineering and technical expertise to the project team and support more senior engineers/managers. The ideal candidate will produce detailed engineering packages and manage all aspects of the team. This will include work scopes covering ROV Intervention, SFL/EFL Installations, Jumper Installations, Hydrate Remediation, Survey, and Inspection. You will be required to work offshore to support the execution of project work.
Provide specialist skills and knowledge of subsea installation engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practice
Produce deliverables including rigging design calculations, specifications, procedures, progress reports, bid evaluations, and study reports
Create technical documentation, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy
Support operations with occasional periods offshore or at dock
Propose offshore vessel schedules, attempting to optimize operational timings
Get involved in HAZID studies and TRAs of tasks detailed in the procedures
Interface with associated subsea related disciplines and understands the interfaces within the project environment
Mentor junior engineers
Propose innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction
Identify suitable equipment to perform operational tasks offshore, check all aspects of the equipment to ensure it is operated safely and efficiently
Laise with vessel departments and third-party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose and fully compatible with offshore worksite
