QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Professional certificate by accredited Bodies/ Associations is an advantage but not necessary.
Minimum of 15 years' experience in Oil and Gas industry with proven track record in processing platform design.
A strong background in process and flow assurance simulation is essential. The engineer must be conversant and fluent in Hysys and/or UniSim and/or Olga and/or Pipesim. As such, the engineer must be able to perform blow-down calculations, settle-out pressure from compressor systems and perform dynamic compressor studies.
Experience in CO2 removal process and CO2 handling / transportation either engineering design or operation.
Have work experience on high H2S sour service for offshore or onshore operation and/or engineering design.
In line with industry best practices, the engineer must be well versed with API and other applicable international standards.
Must have a good understanding of process and facilities design and production operations including a broad range of expertise on conceptual, development and production operations of oil and gas project.
Essential knowledge on high H2S sour service and high CO2 content relevant to design and/or operation.
Essential knowledge of process simulation software i.e. Hysys and/or Unisim and/or Olga and/or Pipesim.
Essential knowledge on operation best practice to incorporate into process engineering design.
Essential knowledge on applicable International Standards such as API520, 521, 526, 14C, TEMA, NACE.
Proficient in Process simulation software
