A BSEE with 5-15 years of experience in the power utility industry
Familiarity with all major control schemes associated with Power Substations P&C design as well as Line/Circuit protection schemes
Read Power System One-Line Diagrams
Familiarity with the full complement of Substation P&C design drawings including development of:
Relay diagrams, three-line diagrams
AC & DC elementaries
Front and rear panel views
Wiring diagrams
Communications diagrams
Engineered P&C designs for constructability of Power Substations ranging in voltage levels from 34.5K to 500kV
Skilled in all aspects of P&C Substation design and able to lead design projects from conceptual through completion of constructible design
Mentoring and training of junior engineers and designers
Experience with Bentley MicroStation or AutoCAD electrical is a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus
