The Sr Engineer – Structural position provides specialized structural engineering support for the Company's fleet of Mobile Offshore Drilling Units.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provides technical support to Operations, Technical Support, Capital Project and Marketing for structural related issues of offshore drilling rigs,
Conducts local or global structural design and analysis, fatigue analysis and generate professional reports in compliance with applicable codes, rules and regulations,
Conducts structural inspection and assessment on board the rigs for repair, modifications , conversion to provide inspection reports, repair procedures, investigation reports or scope of works,
Coordinates the structural engineering work with CAD designers, engineering consultants, and/or vendors to ensure compliance with applicable codes, rules and regulations, company policies and procedures.
Keeps current with new tools of structural analysis, Class rules revisions and new regulations.
