Certification as a fluid power specialist, fluid power engineer or equivalent certification
Preferred 4 – 10 years’ experience in designing hydraulic systems
Ability to select hydraulic components including pumps, motors, valves, hoses, fittings, reservoirs, filters, and pistons to be used in off highway applications
Ability to design complex hydraulic systems comprising multiple circuits
Knowledge of fluid power principles and operating principles including open, closed, pressure compensated, and load sense circuits
Ability to create and understand hydraulic system schematics and product specifications
Familiarity with well servicing, heavy equipment, or off highway equipment design preferred
