We are seeking a Marine Engineer, to join our client at their offices in Liverpool. You will need to be based locally and have the right to work in the UK to apply.
Briefly, the company provides a mix of Insurance, Accident Investigation, Expert Witness services within the Maritime industry.
They are looking for someone that meets the following requirements:
- A Marine Engineer with a First-Class Certificate of Competency (STCW III/2 - Motor) – essential
- A Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering – preferred
- A high standard of English Language because of the expert witness work (expert report writing, oral testimony in Courts/Arbitrations Internationally) – essential
- The Candidate will have sailed as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer with experience of operation and maintenance of modern large 2-stroke marine diesel engines (dual fuel fired main engines - LNG/LPG desirable) – essential
The role is primarily office based, with some travel when required, mainly to attend surveys.
The company offers a salary of £58,000 plus benefits.
