• Bachelor of engineering in instrument, controls or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience.
• Relevant experience providing technical engineering support of instrument and/or control systems in a complex. oil and gas operating environment preferred.
• Familiarity and practical working knowledge with relevant Australian and industry standards.
• Creative thinking and a proactive mindset are required to facilitate solutions in the field.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results.
• Demonstrated commitment to the clients values of diversity and inclusion, high performance, integrity and trust, partnership and protecting people and the environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with facility groups and cross functional teams.
• Proven ability to communicate technical ideas to a wide range of groups within the facility.
• Proficiency in instrumentation, control and electrical engineering and other engineering disciplines suitable to provide oversight of design as needed.
• Proven ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
• Experience with Yokogawa Centum VP and ProSafe-RS strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results.
