As part of a team developing automation solutions for the drilling industry, the Electrical Engineering Intern will be able to develop electrical and control system solutions based on engineering principles and gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge technologies to build the next generation of oilfield equipment.
Responsibilities
Assist Electrical and Computer engineers in developing modern drilling control systems
Learn and work with variable frequency drives, power electronics and low-voltage power distribution systems
Create and maintain bills of materials, assembly drawings, test procedures, and other technical documents
Work and develop IIOT technology solutions
Assist electrical systems teams with panel assembly, testing, commissioning, and various projects
The Intern will work under the team's engineering licenses of Professional Engineers
