Right now we are looking for a Drilling Performance Engineer
Duties and responsibilities:
The position is part of the rigs' operations team, and involves support for the operation of the rigs.
The drilling engineer will be responsible for monitoring operational efficiency and improvements.
The position will also see to that the rig is operated in accordance with our quality systems, procedures and contractual obligations and that equipment and systems comply with contracts, rules and standards.
The drilling engineer shall also take a leading role in collaboration with other disciplines to ensure that relevant information is shared between the subject areas.
The position also involves support for the Rig Manager in the management of the rigs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher within asset integrity management, drilling technology or similar subjects.
5 - 15 years experience
Strong competence on drilling operations, drilling equipment, performance management and rig management
Experience in collaborating with and supporting management and decision processes
Background and/or experience from the oil and gas industry is beneficial, but not mandatory
Excellent written and spoken Norwegian and English
Regular offshore visits are expected
