Capability to proactively define and implement tools, procedures and/or techniques to deal with scope of work changes and to maximize business opportunities
Capability to ensure economic control of complex multicommand activities/projects at a consolidated level.
Knowledge of tools and solutions related to Project Control activities
Capability to establish and effectively manage a cost control system in order to support the process of preparing the invoicing back-up needs.
Capability to define and set-up the invoicing procedure and mechanism.
Capability to ensure that the invoicing system works effectively and that the status is soundly assessed and reported
Capability to prepare reporting documents according to Company Standards and Project requirements and to check their reliability
Capability to establish the requirements and coordinate the implementation of tools and applications necessary to support project control activities (e.g. hardware / software applications / communications / procedures / standards / reports)
Knowledge of techniques to coordinate activities, to monitor and control activity status, verifying alignment with objectives
Capability to predict the performance of a project through the use of forecasting tools and risk and opportunity analysis
Capability to ensure planning, scheduling, development, execution, monitoring, controlling and implementation set-up of the Progress Measurement System in accordance with the project complexity. Capability to ensure that any deviation from plan is promptly spotted and analyzed, the final time impact is estimated and the effect of corrective actions taken is monitored
Capability to monitor technical and economical project parameters through tools and control techniques in order to promptly identify any deviation trend and to support the implementation of recovery measures to restore the required productivity
Capability to staff and manage departmental resources required for an adequate control of activities/projects, coordinating workload, recruitment, training, assignment to project teams, supervision and performance evaluation
Capability to identify, evaluate, and estimate the level of risk involved in a situation, to compare it against benchmarks or standards and to determine an acceptable level. Capability to maintain a systematic liaison with the Corporate Function ensuring full compliance and application of Corporate Guidelines and Standards
Capability to define and group the discrete work elements of a project in a way that helps in organizing and defining the total scope of work of the project itself. Capability to establish the overall project Breakdown Structure and relevant coding system to meet all control requirements (e.g. Work Breakdown Structure / Cost Breakdown Structure / Organization Breakdown Structure). Capability to ensure that cost control and scheduling systems are compatible
