We are seeking an experienced Chief Electrician to join the FPSO EMEM vessel during its transit from Dubai to Nigeria. The role involves oversight of all electrical systems, ensuring continuous operation and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Supervise assistant electricians and ensure safe work practices.
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance and inspections.
• Support the engineering team during transit and port calls.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (Marine/Industrial).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Chief Electrician on FPSO/VLCC or similar vessel.
• Valid STCW, Medical, and Seaman’s Book.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and marine power distribution.
• Fluent in English.
