Job Description
A leading offshore drilling company is seeking an experienced Chief Electrician to manage all electrical systems and personnel onboard offshore drilling installations.
The successful candidate will oversee electrical maintenance programs, power generation systems, troubleshooting activities, and compliance with operational standards.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise electrical maintenance operations
Manage electrical technicians and contractors
Maintain power generation and distribution systems
Troubleshoot electrical faults and failures
Ensure compliance with safety and electrical regulations
Plan preventive maintenance schedules
Maintain technical records and reports
Support continuous operational readiness
Requirements
Relevant electrical engineering qualification
Minimum 5 years of offshore Oil & Gas experience
Previous drilling rig experience preferred
Strong knowledge of marine and industrial electrical systems
Valid offshore certifications and medical
Leadership and supervisory experience
Good English communication skills
Strong troubleshooting abilities
