The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years' experience in the drilling industry with at least one year of experience operating direct-push technology. You will also have / be:
Previous environmental drilling experience is required
Geoprobe experience
Able to install monitoring wells/collect soil, soil gas, and ground water samples in a safe manner.
Knowledge of drilling technology/methods.
Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair issues related to small diesel engines and hydraulic power systems.
Knowledgeable of DOT laws and regulations regarding driving CDL Class A combination vehicles/trailers.
Demonstrated knowledge of operations and ability to safely operate assigned equipment.
Able to pass a HAZWOPER physical.
Able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments.
General knowledge of computers, for basic time entry and project entry purposes.
Ability to work with a variety of people with differing communication styles and learn new skills is required.
Ability to take response shifts and periodically be on-call 24/7 is preferred, but not required for this position.
