The Driller is responsible for supervising and carrying out the drilling and well control and other work in connection with the drilling operations.
The Driller is in charge of a safe operation of the drilling control system; drawworks; pipe handling systems; mud curculating systems; and Blow-out prevention (BOP) equipment in accordance with the requirments specified in the operating procedures.
The Driller is in charge of the drill crew and ensures the safe completion of all operations on the drill floor including daily preventative maintenance of all equipment.
Supervises, coordinates, trains, evaluates the performance of the drill crew.
Job Requirements:
Valid Well Control Certificate at Supervisor Level issued by IWCF
Cyber base / Amphion experienced is required
A minimum of 10 years of oilfield experience with at least 5 years in similar capacity
OPITO approved Offshore Survival Certificate including HUET
Valid Offshore Medical Certifcate by OGUK (Validity of 1 year)
Willing to work worldwide
