Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Driller to join our team. The Driller is responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment, supervising a crew, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of the drilling program under the guidance of the Rig Manager. This role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety in all operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate drilling rig equipment for extended periods (14 consecutive days)
• Supervise and train crew members in accordance with company standards
• Act as liaison between the Rig Manager and crew, addressing issues and concerns
• Handle, apply, and dispose of drilling fluids safely and correctly
• Conduct inspections of rig and location to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Maintain accurate documentation, including reports and logs
• Advise Rig Manager of changing well conditions, severe weather, or environmental factors impacting operations

Requirements:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License (meeting company Motor Vehicle Policy)
• 3–5 years of drilling rig experience, including minimum 6 months as Assistant Driller or equivalent
• Well Control certification (IADC/ADC)
• Supervisory certification in Well Control
• BOP certification
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Working knowledge of:
– IADC and MSDS regulations
– Air compressors and boosters used for air drilling
– Mud pumps used for fluid drilling
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams

Employment Details:
• Position Type: Full-time
• Shift: Swing
• Work Schedule: 12–13 hours/day, 14 days on / 7 days off rotation
• Physical Demands:
– Outdoor work in hot, cold, wet, or damp conditions (rain, snow, sleet)
– Ability to lift up to 80 lbs frequently
– Vigorous manual labor
– Prolonged standing, squatting, kneeling, and working in tight or elevated spaces
• Travel: Required to field sites
