Must have at least 5 years of rig experience with at least 2 years as a derrickman or motorman on a similar arctic drilling rig. Internal promotions are restricted to personnel with 1 year experience as a relief driller.
Must have a current first aid card, H2S, and a United States Geologic Survey (USGS)- or Mineral Management Service (MMS)-approved Supervisors blowout prevention card. Must possess a current Well Control Certificate at the Drilling Supervisor level.
