Glotech Marine is recruiting an experienced Derrickman to join offshore drilling operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for work in and around the derrick, tubular handling operations, drilling equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient rig-floor activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate and monitor derrick equipment and associated systems
• Assist with tubular handling and tripping operations
• Inspect and maintain derrick and drilling equipment
• Support the Driller and rig crew during drilling activities
• Monitor work-at-height safety requirements
• Report equipment defects and unsafe conditions
• Follow all drilling and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Proven Derrickman experience on offshore drilling rigs
• Relevant drilling and offshore qualifications
• Valid offshore safety certification package
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and required offshore documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Strong knowledge of drilling safety procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable working at height
