Job Description:
SA-World is hiring a skilled Derrickman to join our offshore drilling team. The Derrickman will be responsible for working in the derrick during tripping operations, maintaining the drilling mud system, and assisting the Driller and Assistant Driller with all rig floor operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain mud pumps, shale shakers, and mud pits.
Work in the derrick during tripping operations to handle drill pipes.
Monitor mud weight and viscosity, and report abnormalities.
Assist the Driller and floor crew with general operations.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
Offshore experience as Derrickman or Floorhand.
Valid STCW, Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificate.
Good physical condition and ability to work at height.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
