- Perform daily crane checks and maintenance, and reports in the logbook provided
- Operating the platform crane within its operating parameters during all lifting operations
- Management of the lifting equipment required for the safe and effective operation of the platform crane.
- Assign Roustabout(s) to the cementing unit to assist service personnel with their operation of cementing the casing.
- Remove from service any lifting equipment that is deemed not to be safe for use.
- Maintaining a familiarity with all drilling tools and assisting in checking associated equipment as directed by the Tourpusher.
- Reporting of any defects in drilling or lifting equipment immediately so as to enable repairs to be carried out at the first opportunity.
- Supervise the crew to maintain a high standard of housekeeping of the BOP deck, production area and other delegated areas of the platform
Job Requirements:
- Valid OGUK Medical
- Valid BOSIET Certificate (OPITO Approved)
- Minimum of 5 years of offshore working experience with at least 2 years as a Crane Operator on a Jack-Up Drilling Rig.
- Willing to work Worldwide
