Under general supervision, safely and effectively operates cranes for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world-class safety, and business segment efficiency
Reads and interprets instructions, documentation and plans work activities
Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE
May inspect and lubricate cables, pulleys, guides and drums
May also direct the activities of laborers or dock helpers
Performs other duties and activities as directed
Skills are typically acquired through on the job training, crane and rigging certifications, and a minimum 5 years experience in stockpoint services
