Job Description
A leading offshore drilling company is seeking an experienced Barge Captain to support offshore drilling operations in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for marine operations, vessel stability, ballast control, towing coordination, navigation support, and ensuring safe offshore marine activities.
This role is suitable for marine professionals with previous offshore drilling unit experience.
Job Responsibilities
Manage marine and ballast control operations
Monitor vessel stability and watertight integrity
Coordinate towing and positioning activities
Supervise marine crew operations
Ensure compliance with marine regulations and company procedures
Participate in emergency response operations
Maintain operational records and reports
Support safe offshore drilling activities
Requirements
Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to rank
Previous offshore drilling or semi-submersible experience preferred
Minimum 5 years of marine operational experience
Valid STCW certification package
Offshore survival certification
Valid medical certificate
Strong leadership and communication skills
Fluent English proficiency
