Precision Drilling is a leading provider of safe and High Performance, High Value services to the oil and gas industry. Reporting to the Manager, SAP Corporate, the Functional Analyst, SAP Finance will design, implement, deploy, and sustain SAP solutions. This role will be heavily focused on ongoing improvement and expansion initiatives as well as supporting Precision’s SAP Financials modules. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to configure and support Precision’s embedded Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) module.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of how SAP enables end-to-end business processes and will advise our customers on the common risks and issues associated with SAP integration. This role is a sustainment role with opportunities to work on projects. This is an exciting opportunity which will see the successful candidate take a pivotal role in a rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities
Provide in-depth SAP knowledge to help support business and project objectives with emphasis on the FI, CO, and Asset Accounting modules.
Provide in-depth BPC product knowledge to help support business and project objectives.
Configure SAP system according to new or changing business requirements.
Recommend process improvements and system solutions to assist business objectives.
Perform unit and integration tests
Prepare deliverables, including documentation and ABAP specification.
Communicate effectively with business users and internal teams to deliver functional requirements, assist with documentation, create process maps, etc.
Build and continually develop strong relationships with stakeholders to increase operational capabilities for Precision to deliver on its business strategy.
Assist with developing and delivering improvements within the accounting departments (which are global in nature) and across the wider PD Enterprise.
